About this play
Putting objects into a container and tipping them out again is endlessly fascinating to babies — and it teaches a surprising amount: spatial awareness, the concept of 'in' and 'out', hand control, and an early grasp of quantity. A cup and a handful of blocks is all you need for this self-correcting puzzle.
How to do it (Step by step)
- Give baby a cup or box and a few safe blocks.
