About this play
Taping a few favourite figures, teething rings, or jar lids down to a tray or baking sheet turns ordinary toys into a rescue mission. Working the tape loose to free each one takes focus, finger strength, and problem-solving — and the payoff is getting the toy back.
How to do it (Step by step)
- Tape two or three small, safe toys down to a tray with masking tape.
- Show baby how to pick at a corner of the tape to loosen it.
- Cheer each 'rescue' as they free a toy from its tape.
