About this play
Carrying or walking your baby from room to room and naming what you see — 'lamp', 'door', 'chair' — builds vocabulary far faster than any flashcard. Real objects in their real context, paired with a single clear word repeated often, is exactly how babies learn language.
How to do it (Step by step)
- Walk slowly from room to room with your baby.
- Point to and name three or four objects in each room.
- Pause and repeat a word if baby looks at or reaches for it.
