About this play
A light switch is a perfect cause-and-effect toy that was already installed in every room. Lifting your baby up to flick the switch themselves, and naming 'on!' and 'off!' each time, turns an everyday fixture into a lesson in agency, vocabulary, and the discovery that their own hand can change the world.
How to do it (Step by step)
- Hold baby up near a light switch at a safe height.
