Many libraries run free story-and-song sessions for babies and toddlers, and they are a wonderful early introduction to books, rhythm, and being part of a group. Hearing stories read aloud, joining in with songs, and seeing other children all support language, listening, and social development — and there is no pressure to be perfectly quiet.
